Making a Common Bond team is something to be proud of. We have both boys and girls teams ranging from 3rd grade to graduating seniors. If you are interested in a competitive atmosphere you are in the right place.
We offer small group and individual training throughout the year . We believe that skill development is the foundation from which good basketball players are made. Extra time spent on skill development will make a difference.
Our hosted events create a competitive basketball environment as we draw elite competition from throughout the midwest. Our players benefit not only from quality competiton, but from exposure that comes along with it.

"Common Bond has been a staple in the basketball community for many years. The program offers boys and girls the opportunity to develop their skills while learning to compete hard for their team. We are fortunate to have dedicated coaches and organizations like this to support the growth and enjoyment of our great game!"
Waleed Samaha, Varsity Basketball Coach, Ann Arbor Huron
"Common Bond’s commitment to teaching youth the proper way to play the game is both refreshing and needed in today's youth sports environment. Common Bond has done an outstanding job serving the youth of SE Michigan for the past 14 years and looks to continue this teaching for years to come."
Charles E. Ramsey, Retired High School and Div 1 Basketball Coach of 28 Years, Current Collegiate Basketball Consultant
"It isn’t often that I can say I am totally comfortable turning my players over to an AAU program. But with Coach Hicks and Common Bond, I feel certain that the values, discipline and fundamental skills we instill at Pioneer are reinforced and enhanced under his tutelage. This is not your typical “roll the balls out and play” AAU organization. Coach Hicks has a wealth of knowledge from his days as a collegiate player and his time as a high school head coach. Our players come back from Common Bond as better basketball players and better young men."
Rex Stanczak, Varsity Basketball Coach, Ann Arbor Pioneer
